What’s In It For You
Some of the new Office 2016 features that attorneys will love are:
Co-authoring – Get everyone on the same page using co-authoring in Word, PowerPoint and OneNote. The Sharing pane lets you see who has access to a given document, invite others or change access permissions to your document and see who is currently working within the document. You can even instant message or call someone with a quick question with Skype for Business Integration.
Smart Applications – Applications will learn as you work, taking advantage of subtle cues and clues. “Tell Me,” a new search tool available in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, serves up the commands you need by simply typing what you want to do. “Clutter,” a new Exchange feature in Outlook, uses machine learning to analyze your email patterns, and de-clutter your inbox by moving lower priority messages out of your way and into a new Clutter folder.
Simplified Sharing – Lets you quickly and easily invite others to review or edit your document using the new Share button located on the Ribbon in Word PowerPoint or Excel.
Improved Version History – Allows you to view or go back to earlier drafts of your documents so you can edit and share your documents with confidence.
Shared Notebooks – OneNote shared notebooks provides a centralized place to share all project information including photos, videos, drawings, and more. OneNote will no longer be sold as a standalone application. OneNote 2016 will be included with the Office Professional Plus 2016 and Office Standard 2016 suites.
